Job summary

Hoffman- seeks a Senior SCADA Engineer to lead design, development, and deployment of modern SCADA and BMS solutions. You will own core SCADA functionality, support projects from design to long-term support, and collaborate with managers, designers, and customers to deliver reliable systems.

You will design Ignition Perspective views, develop UDTs, configure alarms, trends, and reports, and perform commissioning with onsite or remote support. Strong scripting and PLC experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in PLC/HMI/SCADA programming and building automation.
• Experience with Ignition Perspectives and BMS integrations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial protocols and field device commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Ignition Perspective views using standards.
• Develop and maintain UDTs, tag structures, and tag providers.
• Configure alarms, trends, historian tags, and reports per requirements.
• Perform commissioning and FAT/SAT with onsite or remote support.
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI/SCADA, and network issues with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with project leads and stakeholders for end-to-end solutions.
• Create and maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to internal standards.
