The role emphasizes security hardening, PLC/SCADA connectivity, and mentoring junior engineers while coordinating across multiple sites and customers in a predominantly on-site but geographically flexible environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience implementing Ignition SCADA systems and gateway architecture.
• Proficiency in Python/Jython scripting and SQL.
• Experience with distributed/redundant gateway design and enterprise interfaces (LIMS/ERP/QMS).

Responsibilities

• Architect Ignition gateway topology with redundancy and scaling.
• Define SCADA platform and enterprise integration requirements.
• Develop gateway logic, database schemas, and system interfaces.
• Lead projects, manage engineers, and provide lifecycle support for gateways.
