Job summary
Stellix Global Services in the Greater Boston area is seeking a Back End Lead to architect Ignition gateway topology, design the SQL database and tag historian layer, and build enterprise interfaces that move production data to LIMS, ERP, and QMS systems. You will own the repeatable method for bringing new skids online, ensuring consistent startup and security hardening.
Candidates should hold Ignition Core Certification, strong Python/Jython and SQL skills, and experience with OPC-UA/DA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience leading engineering teams on complex SCADA projects.
- Ignition and OPC/driver configuration experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop proposals and estimates for platform, integration, and infrastructure scope.
- Lead design of Ignition gateway architecture for distributed and redundant control systems.
- Define enterprise-level SCADA data and integration requirements.
- Develop gateway logic, database schemas, and system interfaces.
- Execute projects and oversee assigned engineers.
- Provide senior-level support for gateways, databases, and interfaces.
