Job summary

TSRC seeks a Senior TS/AD Scientist to provide expert technical support for styrenic block copolymers (SBCs) and to lead new application development projects involving polymer compounding, formulation-property correlation, testing, and production scale-up. You will collaborate with sales and R&D, test polymers in lab and pilot plants, and communicate quality requirements to manufacturing.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Polymer Science/Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
Experience in cast film, blown film, multi-layer film, or non-woven.
Experience in compounding SBCs for molded goods and impact modification.
Experience in testing and characterization of films and plastics.

Responsibilities

Provide expert technical support to customers on processing and performance of TSRC SBC products.
Lead and drive new application development projects with polymer compounding and formulation-property studies.
Collaborate with sales to build long-term customer relationships and advise product recommendations.
Coordinate R&D with lab, pilot, and production settings; develop test methods and processes.
Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to leadership and customers.
Attend industry conferences; write technical papers and deliver trade show presentations.
Utilize CRM to track customer interactions and project updates; ensure timely follow-up.
