Job summary

The Huntington National Bank is seeking an SBA Product Business Development Officer Sr to drive SBA loan origination and client outreach. You will lead self-sourced SBA loan opportunities, analyze financials, structure proposals, and prepare credit packages for review.

In this role you will ensure compliance with applicable laws, agency guidelines, and internal policies while building strong client relationships and coordinating with cross-functional teams to close transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of SBA lending experience
• Minimum 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience

Responsibilities

• Self-sourcing SBA loan origination with emphasis on client contact, origination and analysis. Typical loan amounts are for $350K - $5MM.
• Reviews financial statements and supporting documents, structures SBA loan proposals, completes initial analysis, and prepares credit package.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, agency guidelines and organization policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
