Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks an experienced SBA Product Business Development Officer Sr to market banking services to SBA-eligible clients, focusing on client contact, origination and analysis. You will self-source SBA loans, review financials and structure proposals, and prepare credit packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of 4 years' SBA lending experience
• A minimum of 5 years of SBA/Business/Commercial lending experience
• Business or Finance degree preferred
• SBA loan originating experience
• Familiarity with Commercial loan underwriting systems
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task PC and internet proficiency

Responsibilities

• Self-sourcing SBA loan origination with emphasis on client contact, origination and analysis.
• Review financial statements and supporting documents, structure SBA loan proposals and prepare credit package.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and agency guidelines and organization policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
