Responsibilities

• Monitor build books and notify CAD drafters of errors and needed updates.
• Unload incoming steel deliveries.
• Assist team lead with inventory by tracking steel stock.
• Assist team lead with enforcement of safety procedures.
• Train new hires and cross-train coworkers.
• Operate machines such as shears, cutoff saws, brakes, punch press, form roll and drill press to cut and shape parts.
• Create minimal scrap and plan material use based on cut list.
• Crane Operator Trained and capable of handling overhead cranes.
• Suggest improvements for current work processes.
