Job summary
FTS International, LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer in Las Cruces, NM to support satellite bus and ground development lifecycle from concept through deployment. You will analyze concepts of operations, requirements, and architectures and participate in design reviews to ensure successful mission readiness.
The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, a BS STEM in engineering, and 9+ years of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Security clearance TS/SCI with polygraph.
- BS STEM in engineering discipline.
- 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in full system engineering life cycle from concept to deployment and maintenance.
- Experience with project management supporting mission systems.
- Able to work independently across multiple government customers.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide SME for satellite and ground development lifecycle and operations.
- Lead readiness, rehearsals, and system testing activities.
- Document and present technical analyses and findings.
- Assist customers in applying mission resources.
- Lead integration of requirements, design, and technology.
- Develop system requirements from operations concepts and architectures.
- Coordinate with SETA and customer forums; brief senior government managers.
