Job summary

GCS Recruitment seeks a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to design, test, debug, and validate complex electronic boards used in advanced satellite communication systems. The role focuses on bringing up boards, performing root-cause analysis, and validating designs across development to manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with high-speed interfaces and lab instrumentation, and familiarity with FPGA/ASIC-based systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with board-level hardware design and development.
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up, hardware debugging, and validation.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, JESD204, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with FPGA and/or ASIC-based systems.
• Proficiency with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
• Experience supporting products through design, validation, and manufacturing phases.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead board bring-up activities for newly fabricated hardware.
• Perform hardware debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Execute design verification and validation testing.
• Support high-speed digital interfaces and communication systems.
• Collaborate with design engineers to resolve hardware issues and improve future revisions.
• Support products throughout the full lifecycle, from development to manufacturing.
• Document test results and validation findings.
