Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Senior Ground Systems Integration Engineer to design, develop, and integrate C2 software for spacecraft and ground systems. This role is hybrid with 2-3 days per week in-office across Irvine, Arvada, Seattle, or Washington, D.C., and requires close collaboration with customers to translate mission requirements into robust engineering solutions.

You will integrate new satellites and flight software, perform low-level software integration across interfaces, and build expertise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in satellite command and control systems or similar hardware-software integration.
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain a US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate C2 software for spacecraft and ground systems.
• Collaborate with customers to decompose mission objectives into technical solutions.
• Integrate new satellites and flight software into mission management platforms.
• Perform low-level software integration and debugging across software-hardware interfaces.
• Support integration of solutions into broader system architectures.
• Build and maintain expertise in C2 standards and protocols (CCSDS, CSP, CFDP, XTCE, MIB).
• Ensure integrations meet reliability, maintainability, and scalability standards.
