Job summary
Hispasat in Madrid seeks a S3C/IOPS Senior Engineer to lead the concept, design, development and procurement of Satellite Control Centers and Operations Centers for government and commercial applications. You will work on requirements, interfaces, TM/TC engineering and data flows within the ground segment, and support procurement through final acceptance.
You will have a Master’s degree in Tele-communications or related field, 5+ years in satellite control center systems engineering, and fluency
Qualifications
- Master's degree in telecom engineering or related field.
- 5+ years experience in satellite control/operations systems.
- Knowledge of TM/TC, interfaces and data flows.
- Experience with DOORS/JAMA or requirements tools.
- Fluency in English; EU secret clearance an asset.
Responsibilities
- Concept, design, development and procurement of Satellite Control Centers and Operations Center.
- Define system interfaces and data flows within the ground segment.
- Develop hardware/software interfaces and IT infra connections.
- Support procurement from RFP to final acceptance.
- Lead verification and validation concepts and tests.
- Act as technical POC for anomalies during operation.
