Job summary

Espace is looking for a Staff Satellite Battery Electro-Mechanical Engineer to develop, build, and test satellite battery hardware. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least 5 years in electro-mechanical design.

You will own the satellite battery product from initial design to flight, collaborating closely with various teams. This full-time position offers a target base pay between $120,000 - $200,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electro-mechanical engineering.
• Skilled in CAD tools and battery pack design.
• Experience with UN38.3 testing and thermal management.

Responsibilities

• Own the satellite battery product from clean sheet to flight.
• Execute all aspects of battery pack electro-mech design.
• Produce drawings and documents including fabrication packages.
