Job summary

SAIC seeks a Networking Engineer with SATCOM/RF expertise to support mission-focused operations by configuring, troubleshooting, and securing satellite and ground-segment systems. You will apply RF, IP networking, and information security to ensure end-to-end readiness.

Responsibilities include vulnerability assessments, maintaining configuration records, and developing technical and program management documentation while collaborating with government and commercial stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently require TS/SCI and Poly clearance
• Experience with RF communication
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, Ethernet, MPLS
• Basic information security principles and risk management
• Ability to perform vulnerability assessments on ground-segment software and network devices
• Experience providing end-to-end systems engineering support for operational equipment
• Experience in program management and test/operational readiness plans
• Maintain accurate configuration management records and traceability
• Experience collaborating with diverse government/commercial stakeholders
• Educational background in Engineering, CS, or Telecommunications
• 10+ years with degree; 15+ years without a degree
