Title

Senior Satcom & RF Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Manage Satcom Engineering projects from concept to hardware delivery, ensuring technical adequacy and conformance with DoD standards. Act as the primary interface to customers, providing updates, cost estimates, BOM, schedules, and engineering recommendations. May provide briefings and technical training on Satcom systems and products.
2. Research, design, develop, test, and integrate Satcom and RF hardware systems based on customer requirements. Design electronic circuits, including PCB layout. Perform integration, testing, data analysis, and deliver final products with operational documentation. Manage technical performance of support personnel if applicable.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in Satcom & RF systems, including SATCOM, Wi-Fi, LTE.
• Expertise in satellite link calculations, antenna theory, spectrum planning, and interference mitigation.
• Experience in waveguide design, performance testing, and hardware research.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer interface experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.

Education

BS in EE, preferably MS in EE with focus on Communications, Satellite Systems, and Antenna Theory. Alternatively, 15 years of relevant work experience.

Additional Details

• Basic Compensation: $122,840 - $187,000
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph preferred; ability to obtain clearance required.
