Job summary

Centurum is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance (ETM) III in San Diego, CA to apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex SATCOM and shipboard electronics problems. You will use high-frequency test instruments, inspect cables, read installation drawings, and prepare final system status reports for cross-functional handoffs.

Travel 25% is expected; a Secret DoD clearance is required; ten years of hands-on overhaul experience on CBSP/DMR/NMT/HF/RF/TACAN/ESM is preferred; HS

Qualifications

• Must have 10 years of experience in overhauls/repairs on shipboard electronics systems.
• Ability to read system drawings and SOVT docs, and document final status reports.
• Formal CBSP system training completed (ULV/FLV variants).

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex SATCOM and shipboard electronics problems.
• Operates specialized test equipment to verify wiring, RF performance, and security controls.
• Prepare detailed documentation and status reports for cross-functional handoffs.
