Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer specializing in SASE with a focus on Prisma Access. You will serve as a technical backbone for enterprise customers, solving complex architectural challenges at the intersection of networking and security.

As a senior team member, you will mentor others and coordinate with Product Management and Engineering to shape our SASE roadmap. You will lead critical issue resolution, perform deep analysis, and advocate for best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical support or systems engineering role with focus on SASE or Cloud Security.
• Deep hands-on experience with SASE platforms, specifically Prisma Access.
• Mastery of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPNs, SSL/TLS and Web proxy.
• Strong understanding of security concepts such as ZTNA, SWG, and CASB.

Responsibilities

• Lead resolution of complex technical issues involving Prisma Access and cloud configurations.
• Debug routing and connectivity across hybrid environments, including SD-WAN and BGP peering.
• Perform packet and log analysis to provide thorough root-cause analysis for incidents.
• Act as technical contact for premium enterprise accounts and align SASE deployments with best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to influence product improvements.
