Job summary

Clear Resolution Consulting, LLC seeks an Expert-level SAR Imagery Scientist to join our Springfield, VA team on-site with NGA work. Active TS/SCI clearance required; 40-hour weeks; no telework.

Proficient in Python and SAR exploitation, with 6+ years of SAR experience and expertise in image formation and phenomenology. Preferred candidates will have experience with SARPy, MATLAB SAR toolbox, RNIIS, and quality metrics, and will develop and test new algorithms using Python, MATLAB, and Google

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• length <=140
• 12 years of relevant experience with a Master’s Degree or 17 years with a Bachelor's in STEM or 21 years total experience
• Able to work on client site in Springfield, Virginia 40 hours a week (no telework)
• Proficient with Python
• 6+ years of experience as a SAR expert with understanding of collection, phenomenology, image formation process, and exploitation products
• Experience with SARPy and MATLAB SAR toolbox
• Experience with RNIIS, information theoretic-based image quality metrics, SAR imagery quality metrics, and sensor metadata
• Experience exploiting SAR to determine the occurrence and location of an OOI
• Experience developing, testing, and evaluating new algorithms, processes, methodologies, and products using SAR imagery with tools like Python, MATLAB, Google Earth Engine
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences about the availability and capabilities of SAR
• Deep understanding of the principles of remote sensing and imagery processing and advanced exploitation methods
