Job summary
Border States, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking an SAP development expert to support SAP applications, ABAP programming, and integration solutions. You will partner with the ERP Center of Excellence, design CDS views, Odata services, and cloud integrations to enable streamlined business processes.
The role involves collaborating on large projects, maintaining SAP functionalities, and testing enhancements in a dynamic environment. Remote-friendly with a Fargo, ND base.
Qualifications
- 4 Year STEM Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of SAP development work experience.
- Advanced knowledge and experience in ABAP programming.
- Experience designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views and Odata services.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and services like SCP Integration, API Management, Mobile Services, etc.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ERP Center of Excellence to optimize technology for business processes.
- Adhere to Border States SDLC guidelines and change management procedures.
- Perform impact and feasibility analyses for business requests.
- Conduct technical walk-throughs with team members.
- Create technical documentation describing program logic and coding.
- Research and recommend new SAP solutions to enhance systems.
