Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Program Security Representative (PSR) II to provide multi-discipline security support for SAPs, SCI and collateral data.

The role includes day-to-day security operations, policy development, and training across a DoD-focused environment. The PSR II will ensure adherence to NISPOM and related policies, manage vulnerabilities, coordinate SAP security education, and support facility compliance reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)
• 8+ years related experience SAP experience required
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience
• Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the NISPOM, its Supplement, the DoD Overprint, DCID, ICD, and SAP policy
• Assist in developing and executing approved policies and procedures for safeguarding SAP, SCI and collateral data
• Provide day-to-day security support including assessment of procedures and recommendations
• Identify vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to test, training, and operational activities
• Assist in developing, implementing, and training the Operations Security program
• Assist in providing contractor and subordinate facility assistance and oversight
• Brief personnel on security topics at all levels
• Conduct and document SAP facility compliance reviews and close-outs
• Monitor, report and track corrective actions from compliance reviews
• Ensure timely notification of security matters to program staff
• Coordinate with SAP security for lessons learned in the SAP education program
