Job summary

CNA is hiring a Contractor SAP Security Officer to ensure adherence to DoD and SAP policies within the CNA SAPCA. The role will coordinate SAP activities, manage the SCIF with the Contractor Special Security Officer, and liaise with CNA Security on collateral security matters.

Responsibilities include translating Navy guidance, developing SAP procedures, conducting training, and maintaining accreditation documentation; annual inspections and CAP will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in SAP Security; 10+ years in SAP/SCI Security, preferably Navy programs.
• Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison with Navy SAP security officials translating guidance to CNA processes and procedures.
• Serve as the local expert for employees on SAP-related matters in accordance with DoD directives and requirements.
• Analyze, interpret, and implement security policies, plan and conduct assessments and audits.
• Plan, implement, and track SAP personnel, information, physical, and technical security.
• Ensure SAP personnel security procedures meet guidance; conduct interviews and manage access packages.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the CNA SCIF/SAPF with the Contractor Special Security Officer.
• Develop and document SAP-related training for assigned SAP-accessed individuals.
• Maintain accountability for classified material and equipment; oversee information management systems.
• Conduct annual self-inspections and CAP; prepare SAPF accreditation docs and SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
