Job summary

General Dynamics Land Systems is seeking a Contractor Special Security Officer to administer daily security operations for SAP environments. You will coordinate with CA SAPCO, CAM, and CAM to safeguard SAP information across contractor locations and manage personnel vetting, access controls, and documentation in line with ICD 705 and DoD directives.

The role requires leadership, meticulous record-keeping, and effective communication within a high-security team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in DoD and/or IC security, with 3–5 years in SAP environments.
• Completion of foundational CDSE/STEPP security training within 90 days of appointment; SAP training desirable.
• Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP security policies and procedures; proficiency with DISS/JADE and other security management software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with CA SAPCO, PSM, PSO, GAM, and CAM to protect SAP information.
• Establish SETA program and manage security operations for assigned activity.
• Execute SAP security requirements per DODM 5205.07 and related guidance.
• Develop and maintain Security SOPs for SAPF/SCIF.
• Process PARs, indoctrinations, debriefings, and maintain security files.
• Manage visit certifications and foreign travel reporting for SAP personnel.
• Ensure records are updated in JADE or successor systems.
