Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Senior IT SAP Security/GRC Lead Specialist to manage SAP security, GRC, and SOX compliance, ensuring robust controls across S/4 HANA, Fiori, and related modules. The role includes SME leadership, training, and collaboration with auditors.

Ideal candidates have 5-8+ years of SAP security/GRC experience, with multiple full lifecycle implementations and a strong security governance mindset within Energy Transfer’s enterprise IT landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Experience with 2 SAP full life cycle implementations and SAP Security design.
• 2-3 years of GRC 10.1/12 Access Control implementation.
• Administration/Troubleshooting complex security issues in S4 HANA, BPC, O-BPC, ChaRM, E-HANA Security, Fiori catalogs, groups and configure security roles.
• Configure GRC SOD Rule Set and test mitigations.
• Experience with SAP integration with SailPoint IdM preferred.
• Experience with auditors and remediation gaps in IT/SAP audits.
• Should be able to lead Customer Workshops and Presentations Independently.
• Responsible for effectiveness of SAP Security Controls and addressing audit findings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate project activities to meet goals.
• Identify and schedule deliverables, milestones, and tasks.
• Research production problems and implement configuration changes.
• Provide day-to-day SAP troubleshooting and 24×7 support of SAP production system.
• Act as SME lead for SAP Security and GRC modules (S4 HANA, Fiori, BPC, O-BPC, E HANA, Solman, GRC components).
• Develop and implement SAP security policies, architecture and processes.
• Apply SOX compliance knowledge in control design and testing.
• Translate business requirements into a robust SAP security model (S/4HANA, BPC, E-HANA, Fiori).
• Develop SAP training and knowledge transfer for business clients.
• Proactively train IT resources on SAP configuration and processes.
• Ensure changes follow SOX control processes.
