Job summary

SMX is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Test Developer to design, develop, maintain, and execute test assets for a DoW SAP S/4HANA implementation in an Agile SAFe framework. You will validate designs, configurations, and business processes across SAP processes and interfaces.

Responsibilities include translating requirements into test artifacts, maintaining traceability, executing tests, documenting results, and supporting UAT planning and production readiness. DoD Secret Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, CS, business, engineering, accounting, supply chain, or related field.
• 5+ years of software quality assurance, test development, or test execution on enterprise systems.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on SAP testing experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience supporting testing through multiple phases: functional, system/integration, regression, end-to-end, and UAT.
• DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows into test scenarios, test cases, scripts, procedures, and test data.
• Maintain traceability in the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Execute tests and document results and defects; participate in defect triage.
• Analyze failed tests and develop corrective actions.
• Perform retesting and regression testing.
• Support UAT planning and execution, entrance and exit criteria, test evidence collection, reporting, and production-readiness assessments.
