Job summary

The SAP S/4HANA Test Developer at SMX will design, develop, maintain, and execute test assets for a DoW SAP S/4HANA implementation operating within an Agile SAFe framework.

This role will support functional, technical, configuration, security, Fiori, integration, negative, regression, exploratory, UAT, and end-to-end testing across SAP business processes, interfaces, data conversions, and integrated systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, business, engineering, accounting, supply chain, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
• 5+ years of software quality assurance, test development, or test execution experience on enterprise business systems.
• At least 2–3 years of hands-on SAP testing experience, preferably supporting an SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, modernization, upgrade, or major enhancement release.
• Experience supporting testing through multiple phases, including functional testing, system/integration testing, regression testing, end-to-end testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• DoD Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

• Translating business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows into test scenarios, test cases, scripts, procedures, and test data.
• Maintaining traceability in the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Executing tests.
• Documenting results and defects; participating in defect triage.
• Analyzing failed tests.
• Developing corrective actions.
• Performing retesting and regression testing.
