Job summary

SMX is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Test Developer to design, develop, and execute test assets across an Agile SAFe framework for a DoD SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will validate business processes, interfaces, data conversions, and integrated systems, collaborating with stakeholders and SMEs to ensure release readiness and production-grade readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, CS, engineering, accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of software QA, test development, or test execution on enterprise systems.
• 2–3 years of hands-on SAP testing experience, preferably SAP S/4HANA implementation or upgrade.
• Experience across functional, system/integration, regression, end-to-end, and UAT testing.
• DoD Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and processes into test scenarios, cases, scripts, tests, and data.
• Maintain traceability in the Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Execute tests and document results and defects; participate in defect triage.
• Analyze failed tests and develop corrective actions; perform retesting and regression testing.
