Job summary
Tata Consultancy Services Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer in Charlotte, NC to drive design and discovery for SAP Digital Manufacturing initiatives. You will define scalable Mfg/Eng processes aligned with SAP Best Practices and lead cross-functional deployments across engineering, production, quality, and supply chain.
Core duties include workshops, gap analysis, and guiding data governance and migration to S/4HANA while ensuring robust master data standards are followed in a global template
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in manufacturing processes and SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing.
- Experience with DM in ETO/MTO/Make-to-Stock environments.
- Experience with RISE with SAP and global template deployments.
- Understanding of Cloud MES, production automation, and SAP ERP integrations.
- Experience with Agile or Agile-Hybrid methodologies.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specs (RICEFW).
Responsibilities
- Drive solution design and discovery with business stakeholders.
- Define scalable manufacturing and engineering process architecture.
- Conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops and identify gaps and optimizations.
- Lead manufacturing transformation initiatives across engineering, production, quality and supply chain.
- Configure SAP Digital Manufacturing capabilities including BOMs, Routings, work instructions, and shop floor
- Support migration from legacy systems to S/4HANA and govern master data for manufacturing objects
