Job summary

Genius Business Solutions Inc. (GBSI) in the United States seeks an experienced SAP Business Analyst to support and optimize the Plan-to-Report landscape. You will configure SAP FI-CO, collaborate with Finance and FP&A stakeholders, and help drive improvements across GBSI’s SAP solutions, including OneStream integrations.

The role emphasizes hands-on configuration, requirements gathering, and process optimization in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Prior RISE/cloud exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience as an SAP Business Analyst / SAP FI-CO Functional Consultant.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI-CO configuration.
• Experience with Plan-to-Report / Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Exposure to SAP RISE / SAP Cloud environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance SAP Plan-to-Report (P2R) business processes and applications.
• Perform hands-on SAP FI-CO configuration based on business requirements.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from Finance, Accounting, and FP&A stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into effective SAP functional solutions.
• Support core SAP Finance processes including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Financial Closing.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.
• Troubleshoot SAP FI-CO functional issues and provide timely resolution.
• Work closely with business users to understand issues, provide recommendations, and deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams, developers, integration teams, and other SAP functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Participate in SAP enhancements, projects, upgrades, migrations, and application modernization initiatives.
• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Prepare functional specifications and other required project documentation.
