Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited invites a Lead Consultant to drive end-to-end OpenText VIM implementations in SAP environments across US locations. You will blueprint, realize, test, and deploy solutions, while hands-on configuration and strong client engagement shape delivery.

The role demands 5+ years of OpenText VIM experience, two full-lifecycle SAP VIM projects, and expertise in FICO, MM, LIV, ICC/BCC/IC4S, ArchiveLink, and VIM reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated hands-on experience configuring and supporting OpenText VIM.
• At least 2 full-lifecycle SAP OpenText VIM implementations.
• Strong functional grasp of SAP FICO, MM, and LIV.
• Hands-on configuration with ICC/BCC/IC4S, ArchiveLink, and VIM Workplace/Central Reporting.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori apps mapped to VIM exception handling.
• Excellent client-facing communication, workshop facilitation, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in end-to-end OpenText VIM implementations, blueprinting, realization, testing, and deployment.
• Individual contributor and should have very strong hands-on experience
• Conduct business requirement workshops with client finance and AP stakeholders.
• Configure VIM components including DP document types, process types, process options, and mapping rules.
• Set up OCR extraction channels via ICC, BCC, or IC4S.
• Configure complex approval workflows, COA workflows, and custom exception handling.
• Integrate VIM with SAP MM (PO, Goods Receipt, LIV) and FI (Non-PO invoices, FB60).
• Troubleshoot data extraction, indexing, and workflow blockages.
• Perform RCA for recurring errors and deliver permanent fixes.
• Coordinate with ABAP/Basis teams for functional specs, enhancements, and reports.
• Support SAP upgrades, migration validation, and transport requests.
• Assist in unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
