Lawson Products, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support SAP Sales and Distribution in the Order to Cash process. The role partners with business teams to align IT solutions with goals and delivers process improvements in a hybrid work environment based in Chicago.

You will handle requirements, configuration, testing, and deployment while maintaining documentation and knowledge of SAP capabilities. This role emphasizes collaboration and cross-functional impact assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with at least 5 years of experience in SAP Order to Cash area working on multiple SAP projects.
• Advanced Project Management Skills - capable of managing concurrent projects successfully.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas in plain language and collaborate with business partners.
• Technical strengths with strong SAP configuration skills in SAP Sales & Distribution.
• Experience with cross-functional impact analysis and governing IT solutions.
• Familiarity with SAP data structures and SD integration points.

Responsibilities

• Manages the relationship between business partners and the IT department relative to requirements, solutions, and priorities.
• Works with business partners to determine alignment of initiatives with business goals and value.
• Develops and documents new processes and solutions.
• Performs system support activities and ensures production support service levels are met.
• Assists in upgrade & migration activities ensuring they meet business requirements and goals.
• Creates training documents and system documentation.
• Ensures IT practices and policies are aligned across the enterprise.
