Job summary

Deloitte’s SAP practice seeks a Manager to help clients define, implement, and sustain enterprise data governance across complex SAP environments. You’ll lead MDG/data governance workstreams, guide architecture, and collaborate with stakeholders to expand client value through analytics and AI-enabled governance capabilities.

This role requires 8+ years in SAP consulting or data governance, strong leadership of at least one workstream, and the ability to travel ~50% to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s degree with 10+ years in SAP/enterprise data management.
• 8+ years of SAP consulting, enterprise data management, or ERP consulting experience.
• 5+ years of SAP MDG, MDM, or enterprise data governance experience, including leadership of at least 1 workstream or team.
• Experience contributing to at least 4 SAP MDG, MDM, or enterprise data governance implementations, including at least 2 full-lifecycle implementations
• Experience delivering SAP MDG or data governance capabilities across at least 2 master data domains, such as material, business partner, customer, vendor, finance, or custom domains.
• Experience designing or implementing a data governance operating model that included at least 3 components, such as stewardship roles, policies, standards, decision rights, workflows, or data quality measures.
• Experience managing at least 1 client-facing workstream with responsibility for scope, budget or financials, schedule, staffing or team performance, risks, dependencies, delivery quality, and client workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Ability to travel 50% on average, based on the work performed and the clients and industries or sectors served.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDG data governance workstreams across one or more master data domains.
• Advise on data governance operating models, policies, standards, decision rights, workflows, and data quality measures.
• Oversee data migration strategies across SAP landscapes, coordinating with finance, supply chain, customer, and other workstreams.
• Guide MDG architecture decisions, including domain scope, workflow design, integration approach, and broader SAP architecture.
• Manage workstream scope, staffing, financials, risks, dependencies, delivery quality while coaching and developing team members.
• Facilitate senior stakeholder workshops and identify opportunities to expand client value through MDM, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled governance capabilities.
