Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Data Conversion Senior Consultant to lead data migration activities for SAP IS-U implementations. You will analyze legacy data, define mappings, and support data loads, validation, and sign-off.

The role includes coordinating with business, functional, and technical teams and may require travel to meet client needs across projects. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of SAP IS-U experience, hands-on data conversion expertise, and strong collaboration and communication

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U experience including data conversion/migration.
Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, design, testing, and production support in utilities.
Willingness to travel up to 40–60%.

Responsibilities

Analyze legacy data structures and target SAP IS-U requirements for master and transactional data objects.
Define source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and load dependencies with business owners.
Support conversion of utility data including business partners, contracts, premises, installations, meters, and FI-CA balances.
Perform data profiling, mock conversions, data loads, validation, and reconciliation using migration tools.
Coordinate staging and ETL activities with technical data teams and monitor load quality.
Develop counts, control totals, balance checks, and evidence for data conversion validation.
Support multiple conversion cycles, mock loads, and cutover rehearsals with client teams.
Collaborate across SAP IS-U domains and related workstreams to resolve data issues.
