Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS‑U Data Conversion Senior Consultant to support data migration activities for SAP IS‑U implementations. You will analyze legacy data, define conversion requirements, and manage data migration from source systems into SAP IS‑U, owning assigned data objects from analysis to post‑load validation.

The role demands strong functional knowledge, utility industry experience, and hands‑on data conversion expertise, with travel up to 40–60% to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 3–4 years SAP IS‑U or SAP Utilities experience.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP IS‑U data conversion, including mapping, profiling, transformation rules, validation, and reconciliation.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, solution design, testing, and production support in utility environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing legacy data structures, source extracts, and target SAP IS‑U requirements for master and transactional data objects.
• Defining source‑to‑target mappings, transformation rules, value translations, validation rules, and load dependencies with business owners.
• Supporting conversion of utility data (business partners, contract accounts, premises, meters, billing history, FI‑CA balances) per project scope.
• Performing data profiling, mock conversions, data loads, validation, and reconciliation using approved migration tools.
• Coordinating staging and ETL activities with technical data teams and coordinating with SAP IS‑U modules.
