Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Data Conversion Senior Consultant to support data migration activities for SAP IS-U implementations. You will analyze legacy data, define conversion requirements, and manage data objects from source to load, including mock conversions and post-load validation.

The role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical data teams, with travel up to 40–60% to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• SAP IS-U functional knowledge and utility industry experience.
• Hands-on SAP IS-U data conversion activities and mapping.
• Experience with data profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
• Ability to manage data objects, mappings, and transformation rules.
• Experience coordinating ETL activities and data loads across teams.
• Strong communication with business users and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy data structures, source extracts, and target SAP IS-U requirements.
• Define and maintain source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and load dependencies.
• Support conversion of utility data including business partners, accounts, contracts, meters, and FI-CA balances.
• Perform data profiling, mock conversions, data loads, validation, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate staging and ETL activities with technical data teams.
• Identify and resolve load errors, referential integrity issues, and sequencing dependencies.
• Develop counts, balance checks, and exception reports for validation and sign-off.
• Support multiple conversion cycles, cutover rehearsals, and post-load validation.
