Job summary

Mindset Consulting is seeking a Senior SAP Integration Developer to join our SAP Integration practice in the United States. This senior role focuses on migrating from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite (CPI) for a Fortune 500 client, with emphasis on EDI and cXML integrations.

You'll design, build, and migrate integration flows alongside experienced architects. Candidates should have extensive SAP PI/PO and CPI experience, hands-on iFlows and mappings, and familiarity with EDI, TPM, and cXML

• Direct participation in at least one PI/PO to CPI migration.
• Experience with EDI (AS2, X12/EDIFACT) and cXML.

Job description

Mindset Consulting is looking for a Senior SAP Integration Developer to join our SAP Integration practice. This role supports an active SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite (CPI) migration for a Fortune 500 client, with heavy emphasis on EDI (B2B/AS2 via Trading Partner Management) and cXML integrations. You'll work hands-on building and migrating integration flows alongside experienced SAP architects.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of SAP Integration experience
• Strong SAP PI/PO development background, with proven hands-on SAP Integration Suite (CPI) experience
• Direct experience on at least one SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite migration project (not just greenfield CPI)
• Solid understanding of EDI/B2B integration patterns: AS2, X12/EDIFACT document types, ISA/GS control numbers, VAN connectivity
• Hands-on experience with SAP Trading Partner Management (TPM) and Integration Advisor (MIG/MAG)
• Experience with cXML integrations for procurement networks (Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, or similar) — PO, Invoice, ASN, PO Confirmation document flows
• Familiarity with SAP Partner Directory for non-TPM-supported B2B scenarios
• Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP applications
• Strong communication skills; comfortable working directly with functional teams and architects

Must-Have Experience

• Multiple SAP PI/PO implementation projects
• Multiple SAP Integration Suite (CPI) implementation projects
• Direct participation in one or more SAP PI/PO to CPI migration projects, ideally with EDI and/or cXML in scope
• Hands-on development of iFlows, Groovy scripts, message mappings, adapters, and APIs
• Practical EDI development: 850/855/856/810 or similar transaction sets, AS2 adapter configuration, MDN handling
• Practical cXML development: IDoc-to-cXML mapping, DTD-based validation, procurement network onboarding
• Experience with IDocs, RFC, REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, XML, and JSON
• Experience supporting design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Comfort working with high partner-count environments (dozens to hundreds of trading partners) and generic map/variant overlay strategies preferred over one-off per-partner builds

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP BTP, API Management, Event Mesh, and Cloud Connector
• Experience with Cloud ALM or B2B Monitor for cross-stack monitoring
