Job summary

Staff Perm seeks a Business Solutions Architect focused on SAP IBP planning solutions in Richardson, TX. You will design, configure, and optimize SAP IBP Demand, Supply & Response, and Inventory Optimization for high-volume parts planning while aligning with enterprise priorities.

You will lead technical design, integration with CPI-DS/SDI/RTI, and ensure scalable, reliable processes. This role requires strong architecture skills and hands-on IBP experience in a contract-to-hire arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years of SAP IBP implementation and solution architecture experience.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP IBP Demand Planning, Supply Planning/Response, and Inventory Optimization.
• Experience with SAP CPI-DS, SDI, RTI, and SAP ERP integrations (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
• Strong experience in high-volume, exception-based planning environments.
• Proven expertise in requirements analysis and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP IBP solution architecture and implementation efforts.
• Own technical design for Demand Planning, Supply & Response Planning, and Inventory Optimization modules.
• Design and support integration solutions with SAP CPI-DS, SDI, and RTI.
• Configure IBP modules to handle high-volume transactions including purchase orders and order lines.
• Develop exception-driven planning workflows to manage shortages and inventory constraints.
• Align SAP IBP solutions with enterprise IT strategy and SAP roadmap.
• Conduct business requirements workshops and discovery sessions.
• Analyze gaps between business expectations and SAP IBP capabilities.
• Recommend configuration solutions, enhancements, and alternative approaches.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and throughput for large transaction volumes.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Parts Operations, and IT teams to translate challenges into SAP IBP solutions.
• Manage a prioritized roadmap supporting PDC enablement, ERP rollout phases, and post-go-live enhancements.
• Define and optimize planning areas, key figures, and master data.
• Support data readiness including cleansing, transformation, and harmonization.
• Ensure integration and seamless planning processes across SAP IBP, ECC, and external systems.
• Support PDC blueprinting, rollout strategies, and phased implementation activities.
• Participate in all project lifecycle phases including design, build, test, deploy, and hypercare.
• Support user acceptance testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure governance adherence and document solution architecture and milestones.
• Support long-term SAP IBP maturity and operational excellence.
