Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Senior SAP Analyst for Global Trade Services (GTS) to lead and support SAP S/4HANA implementations and ongoing GTS initiatives. You will partner with business and SAP teams, drive requirements, and deliver robust GTS solutions while supporting our multi-year migration program.

The role requires 8+ years of experience with at least 5 years in GTS/SAP S/4HANA, plus strong knowledge of trade compliance and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IS/Business/CS or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in GTS and SAP S/4HANA.
• Minimum 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations with GTS involvement.
• Experience in Agile environments; familiar with Jira, Azure, Scrum, Kanban.
• Strong knowledge of trade compliance and SAP integrations.
• SAP certification in GTS/S/4HANA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and SAP teams to analyze requirements and design, develop, and test GTS solutions.
• Gather and prioritize requirements; translate to functional specs and identify process improvements.
• Lead and support GTS projects and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Configure, test, and maintain GTS in SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead fit-gap analysis, solution design, and functional specs prep.
• Collaborate across workstreams for end‑to‑end processes and integrations.
• Lead testing activities: unit, integration, UAT, defect resolution, cutover.
• Create project docs: BRDs, functional/technical specs, test scripts.
• Influence GTS strategy; promote best practices and innovations.
• Drive continuous improvement for system performance and user experience.
• Provide production support for GTS processes and incidents.
• Mentor juniors; share knowledge across the org.
• Travel ~30% for go-lives and hyper-care.
