Job summary

Energy Transfer in Houston, TX seeks a Principal Specialist - IT SAP Controlling and Project Systems to lead design, configuration, testing and deployment of SAP S/4HANA finance solutions with a focus on CO and PS.

The ideal candidate brings deep SAP Controlling knowledge (CCA, PCA, COPA, Product Costing, Material Ledger) and strong cross‑functional integration with FI/MM/SD/PP/PM. You will partner with IT and business teams, drive transformation initiatives, and mentor peers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years SAP FICO implementation and support experience.
• Minimum 4 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Controlling and Project Systems in SAP S/4HANA environments.

Responsibilities

• Design functional SAP CO/PS solutions and support deployment in SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead architecture discussions and ensure cross-functional integrations.
• Provide user support and contribute to SAP transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and IT teams; mentor peers.
