Job summary

Edward Don & Company seeks a Senior SAP Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and SAP CRM across core business functions. You will serve as a technical lead for development, integration, and production support, collaborating with IT and business teams to deliver scalable, secure SAP solutions.

You will guide projects in PS, SD, MM, FI, WM, LE, and CRM modules, ensuring adherence to standards and lifecycle practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• 7+ years designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing SAP enterprise applications and integrations.
• 5+ years supporting SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and SAP CRM environments.
• Strong PS knowledge including WBS structures, budgeting, settlements, and FI/CO integration.
• Experience supporting SAP business processes across SD, MM, FI, WM, and LE modules.
• 5+ years of SAP PI/PO integration development and support.
• 5+ years developing/integrating REST APIs, SOAP services, RFCs, BAPIs, and OData services.
• 5+ years transforming data exchanges with XML, cXML, CSV, and Excel.
• 5+ years securing system connectivity including SSL/TLS, encryption, authentication, and certificate management.
• Experience with CDS Views, AMDP, Solution Manager, production support, incident management, and ALM.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and SAP CRM applications and integrations.
• Provide technical leadership for SAP PS, including WBS structures, budgeting, cost tracking, settlements, and FI/CO integration.
• Design and maintain enterprise integrations using SAP PI/PO, REST, SOAP, RFCs, BAPIs, and OData.
• Develop and support inbound/outbound interfaces (XML, cXML, CSV, Excel).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex SAP/integration/data-processing issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Support end-to-end business processes across SD, MM, FI, WM, LE, CRM.
• Manage secure connectivity between SAP and external systems (SSL/TLS, certificates).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Promote development standards, code quality, testing, and best practices.

The Senior SAP Engineer is responsible for the design, development, integration, and support of SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and SAP CRM solutions across critical business functions. This role serves as a technical expert for SAP development, system integrations, interface management, and production support, partnering with business and IT teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions.

++RESPONSIBILITIES++

• Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and SAP CRM applications and integrations.
• Provide technical leadership and support for SAP Project Systems (PS), including WBS structures, budgeting, cost tracking, settlements, and FI/CO integration.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integrations utilizing SAP PI/PO, REST APIs, SOAP services, RFCs, BAPIs, OData services, and event-driven architectures.
• Develop and support inbound and outbound interfaces using XML, cXML, CSV, Excel, and other structured data formats.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and data-processing issues across SAP and external systems, including root cause analysis and defect resolution.
• Support end-to-end business processes across SD, MM, FI, WM, LE, and CRM modules.
• Manage secure communications between SAP and external systems, including SSL/TLS certificates, encryption, authentication, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and deliver scalable, maintainable solutions that meet business needs.
• Drive adoption of development standards, code quality practices, testing methodologies, and technical best practices to ensure system reliability and maintainability.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8 and SAP CRM environments.
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP Project Systems (PS), including WBS structures, budgeting, cost planning, settlements, and integration with FI/CO.
• Experience supporting SAP business processes across SD, MM, FI, WM, and LE modules.
