Job summary

Accenture's SAP practice is seeking a development professional skilled in ABAP, S/4HANA ABAP, and SAP BTP to design, build, test, and support custom SAP extensions under Clean Core principles.

You will work on side-by-side extensions on BTP, develop OData services, and leverage Joule Studio and Generative AI capabilities to deliver intelligent enterprise solutions. Travel 0–100% may be required depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years developing SAP applications with ABAP, including 3+ years on S/4HANA ABAP.
• 2+ years with SAP BTP tools and services, incl. Joule Studio.
• 2+ years data modeling with CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related.
• 1+ year SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and RAP, incl. BTP side-by-side.
• Experience in Consulting/Advisory roles.
• Experience with Consumer Goods Industry clients.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 12+ years experience if no degree.
• Bonus: SAP certification in ABAP Cloud, BTP, or SAP Business AI / Generative AI.
• Hands-on exposure to SAP Build and CAP (Node.js / Java).
• Knowledge of DevOps for SAP (Git transport, gCTS, CI/CD, automated testing).
• Familiarity with SAP Business AI Joule, Joule Studio, Generative AI Hub; RAG patterns.
• Functional understanding of CGS, Retail, Life Sciences, Industrial, Automotive, Travel & Transportation industry processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support SAP custom development and extensions using ABAP, ABAP Cloud, RAP, CDS, OData, and Fiori under Clean Core principles.
• Build side-by-side extensions on BTP and in-app extensibility on S/4HANA.
• Develop and consume OData services; support released-API adoption and clean-core compliance.
• Use BTP tools and services (including Joule Studio) to support SAP Business AI-enabled features.
• Collaborate with leads and client stakeholders; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.
• Travel may be required for this role, from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
