Job summary

Lovelytics is seeking an experienced Data Architect with SAP expertise to lead design and delivery of data engineering and SAP integration solutions for clients. The role focuses on scalable architectures that connect SAP data with cloud platforms like Databricks, AWS, and Azure.

The ideal candidate has deep SAP ERP data knowledge (ECC/S/4HANA), hands-on Databricks experience, and a proven track record in data warehousing, modeling, and architecture across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related technical disciplines.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, including designing and implementing scalable data engineering solutions.
• Deep understanding of SAP ERP data architecture (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
• Strong experience with SAP data integration technologies: Datasphere, BW, HANA, or BDC.
• Proven experience designing SAP-to-cloud data integration solutions and enterprise data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and delivery of complex data engineering and SAP integration solutions.
• Serve as the technical lead on client engagements, owning architectural decisions and ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures leveraging Databricks, AWS, Azure.
• Architect SAP data integration solutions involving ECC and/or S/4HANA, leveraging deep knowledge of SAP tables, data structures, and processes.
• Define data integration strategies and best practices utilizing SAP technologies such as Datasphere, BW, HANA, or BDC.
• Provide technical oversight of ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, data modeling, and real-time data processing.
• Establish architectural standards for data quality, security, governance, CI/CD, and performance optimization.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution design discussions with client stakeholders.
• Partner with Engagement Managers to define technical scope, project estimates, and implementation strategies.
• Provide mentorship to engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Identify technical risks and recommend architectural tradeoffs.
