Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior SAP Architect to lead the technical architecture for SAP custom development and extensibility, focusing on Clean Core, ABAP Cloud, and BTP-based solutions. You will guide global delivery teams, advise senior client stakeholders, and drive architecture sign-offs and code reviews across engagements.

The role emphasizes leadership, deep ABAP/BTP expertise, and experience with S/4HANA, data modeling, and modern SAP development practices in a consulting setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years experience developing SAP applications using S/4HANA ABAP and ABAP Cloud.
• Minimum 5 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services.
• Minimum 4 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related.
• Minimum 4 years SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side.
• Minimum 3 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs).
• Prior experience in Chemicals & Natural Resources industries and in a Consulting role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (12 years) (or 6+ years with Associate's degree).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for SAP custom development and extensibility.
• Provide thought leadership on modern SAP development (ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori).
• Lead transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; govern remediation and upgrades.
• Plan and conduct architecture workshops; own code reviews and sign-offs.
• Support pursuits, estimation, and solution shaping; present to client architects.
