Job summary

Raytheon seeks a senior SAP data specialist to design and migrate SAP BW models to Datasphere, convert logic to CDS views, and enable cloud analytics via SAC. You will map legacy BW objects to modern Datasphere entities and optimize data flows across BW, Datasphere, and SAC.

You will collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and SAP teams to ensure data quality, governance, and timely delivery of reporting solutions. U.S. citizenship and security clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW (7.x) and BW/4HANA including InfoProviders, ADSOs, and BEx queries.
• Experience migrating BW objects to SAP Datasphere and converting objects to CDS views for cloud consumption.
• Experience with SAP ECC/S4 modules and extractors (FI/CO, SD, MM, HR).
• Experience enabling analytics in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) including Model creation and Story building.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW data models (InfoCubes, InfoObjects, ADSOs, etc.).
• Lead migration of BW models/logic to SAP Datasphere (BDC).
• Convert BW objects to CDS views for cloud consumption.
• Map legacy BW objects to Datasphere entities (Datasets, Views).
• Enhance performance via query tuning, load orchestration, and data flow monitoring.
• Collaborate with analysts, data architects, and SAP teams to translate requirements.
• Support reporting migration from BEx Queries to SAC Stories/Models/Applications.
• Maintain data quality, governance, lineage, and metadata standards across SAP BW and Datasphere.
• Troubleshoot data load issues and integration errors.
• Document designs, data flows, and operational procedures.
