Job summary

TalentHop is seeking a BusinessObjects Administrator to manage and optimize the SAP BO environment across cloud-hosted infrastructures. The role focuses on stability, security, and performance while delivering technical solutions in collaboration with IT, data teams, and business stakeholders.

The candidate will oversee configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management, plus scripting to automate common tasks. Strong Windows/Linux knowledge and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant experience in financial operations, business management, computer science, or related fields.
• Three to five years administering SAP BusinessObjects in enterprise environments.
• Experience supporting BusinessObjects in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools like Python or PowerShell.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the SAP BusinessObjects BI platform, including configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor services, job servers, and reporting workloads for availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot application, database, and operating system issues.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to improve system efficiency.
• Conduct security audits and apply security patches.
• Provide time and resource estimates for projects.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
• Stay current with product features and recommend improvements.
• Resolve support tickets promptly.
• Communicate system status and changes to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT, data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
