Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks a Senior SAP BTP / CAP Full-Stack Engineer to lead development on the SAP Business Technology Platform. You will build backend services with Node.js/TypeScript, design data models in SAP HANA Cloud, and deliver secure REST/OData APIs while integrating with SAP IBP and S/4HANA.

This hands-on role emphasizes deploying on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and crafting modern UX beyond Fiori.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field required.
• 6-10+ years of overall experience.
• Experience building and deploying applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
• Proficiency with SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and consuming REST/OData APIs.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA Cloud and data modeling.
• Experience with authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Knowledge of BTP destinations and connectivity.
• Proficient in Git and code versioning.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry.
• Develop backend services using SAP CAP, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Build and support modern React-based UX rather than conventional Fiori-only applications.
• Design HANA Cloud persistence and canonical data models.
• Develop secure REST/OData APIs and agent tools.
• Configure and utilize BTP Destinations, authentication, connectivity and service bindings.
• Integrate SAP BTP with SAP IBP and S/4HANA.
• Implement planner approval workflows and controlled sandbox execution.
• Capture and audit agent runs, tool calls, recommendations, approvals and execution activities.
• Implement actual SAP read-back and reconciliation after transactions.
