Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior SAP CAP Node.js Engineer to develop enterprise-grade solutions using SAP technologies in the United States.

You will work on CAP-based services, SAP HANA integrations, and SAPUI5 interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable microservice architectures. The role requires strong knowledge of CAP, Node.js, and SAP BTP, plus experience with Agile methods and English at B2+ level.

Qualifications

3+ years of engineering experience with SAPUI5, SAP BTP and HANA database.
Practical expertise in CAP and Node.js.
Proficiency in microservice architecture and design principles.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
Basic understanding of JavaScript and Node.js.
Experience or knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP HANA and SAP CAP.

Responsibilities

Conduct code reviews and develop features adhering to best software development practices.
Monitor applications to identify and resolve issues.
Write and maintain technical and user documentation.
Collaborate with the team to meet project objectives and address challenges.
Communicate with customers and stakeholders regarding technical topics and provide insights.
Contribute to the setup, improvement and execution of development processes.
Support design and architectural decisions to enhance solutions.
