Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Engineer for Application Development & Maintenance to support SAP BRIM Convergent Charging within the Opti Freight unit. You will lead real-time rating, design interfaces (REST/SOAP), and drive complex pricing enhancements post go-live.

You will coordinate workshops, ensure performance tuning, and leverage AI to boost productivity while aligning with business requirements and global SAP practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years SAP experience, with 2–3+ years in SAP BRIM Convergent Charging preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Convergent Charging Core Tool & CDC; charge plan lifecycle management.
• Expertise in CC tools: Admin+, BART, IEC, Bulk Loader, Rater/Guider/Updater/Dispatcher.
• Experience in performance tuning of rating clusters and high-volume transaction processing.
• Solid understanding of FI-CA integration and billing/invoicing impact.
• Experience across SAP CC SOM, CI/FI-CA, SD and external mediation systems.
• Experience with subscription/usage-based, telecom, or utilities billing models.
• Strong requirements gathering and functional/technical specification documentation; leadership; ASAP and Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep expertise in SAP BRIM CC, both technical and functional.
• Configure and maintain CC objects: BITs, CITs, item classes, balance management, price/charge plans.
• Design and support rating and re-rating processes for complex pricing scenarios.
• Configure, test, and debug charge plans in production support.
• Troubleshoot CC issues: BIT/CI, queue backlogs, pricing discrepancies.
• Support FI-CA posting simulations and bill run rehearsals.
• Reconcile usage-to-bill flows across CM, CC, CI and FI-CA.
• Design and manage integrations with SAP SOM, CI/FI-CA, FI-CA and external mediation systems.
• Develop and maintain interfaces (REST, SOAP).
• Lead design workshops; monitor performance; apply AI tools to improve productivity.
