Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP Basis Consultant. As a key member of our consulting team, you will help discover and define problems, evaluate solutions, and make recommendations. Your responsibilities include creating detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts, implementing deployment plans, and supporting knowledge transfer to deliver value-added consulting solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the field may substitute each year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• This role may require travel to project/client locations.
• Applicants authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in patching, system parameter configuration, archiving, and security patching.
• Experience in problem management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC, BW, GRC, Solution Manager (both ABAP and Java stack), SQL, and MaxDB databases.
• Experience with performance metrics and troubleshooting, documentation, and internal/external consulting.
• Strong analytical, communication, planning, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of Solution Manager alert setup, technical monitoring, and configurations; familiarity with release and transport management processes.
• Ability to manage system freeze periods, emergency changes, retrofit activities, and system decommissioning during upgrades and migrations.

Additional Information

This role involves extended periods of sitting and working at a computer. Effective communication via telephone, email, or face-to-face is required.

Estimated annual compensation range in CA / WA / NY / CO: $73,000 - $102,200
