Job summary

Sharp Decisions is seeking a senior SAP BASIS architect to lead architecture analysis, design, build, test, and deployment of SAP systems in a remote, long-term contract. You will advise on SAP integration approaches, manage third-party dependencies, and design SAP landscapes for both operational and project settings.

You will plan maintenance, participate in disaster recovery testing, and provide hands-on BASIS administration while guiding performance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 12+ years of professional experience in IT.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical architecture analysis, design, build, test, and deployment for SAP systems.
• Advise on technical approaches for systems integrating with SAP and manage third party dependencies.
• Design and manage SAP system landscapes in operations and projects.
• Plan SAP maintenance schedules and participate in DR planning/testing.
• Provide hands-on SAP BASIS administration and lead performance initiatives.
• Demonstrate knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP; communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
