Job summary

Paradigm Global Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Administrator for a fully remote opportunity in the United States. You will manage SAP technical architecture, design and maintain system landscapes, plan maintenance, and lead disaster recovery activities across Windows and Linux, with HANA, Sybase, Oracle, and SQL Server databases.

You will provide hands-on BASIS administration, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide cross-functional teams including engineering, QA, and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture and SAP best practices.
• Experience with SAP implementations, upgrades, system landscapes, maintenance, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and DR.
• Experience supporting SAP on Windows and/or Linux.
• Experience with HANA and exposure to databases such as Sybase, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Good knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Understanding of cloud technical requirements across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies.
• Experience working with highly technical and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to independently resolve complex technical issues and effectively manage changing priorities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Work with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
• Communicate project status, issues, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and management.
• Support Change Control, issue and risk management, including risk assessments, identification of project roadblocks, and development of mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Professional Services, Product Management, Engineering, QA, and other technical and non-technical teams to resolve project issues and escalations.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical standards, processes, and SAP best practices.
