AVANGRID SERVICE COMPANY is seeking a Senior Manager for SAP Architecture & Solutions to lead design, integration, and governance of end-to-end SAP landscapes. The role partners with business and IT to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions across IS-U, Billing, Device Management, and FI-CA.

Focus areas include migrations to S/4HANA and adoption of SAP BTP. You will mentor teams, drive architecture reviews, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards, security, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field; 10+ years SAP experience.
• Deep expertise in utilities processes and IS-U modules (Device Management, Billing, FI-CA).
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA (full-cycle), BW/4HANA, SAP BTP, Fiori, ABAP, Data Lake.
• Experience with SAP integration platforms (CPI/Integration Suite, PI/PO) and core integration technologies (IDoc/ALE, OData, RFC).
• Strong enterprise-architecture knowledge, governance, and SOX familiarity.
• SAP certifications preferred (e.g. SAP Technology/Architecture).

Responsibilities

• Owns SAP solution architecture across IS-U, Billing, Device Management, Energy Data Management (EDM), AMI, FI-CA.
• Designs end-to-end SAP landscapes for on-prem, cloud, and hybrid; leads migrations to S/4HANA and SAP BTP integrations.
• Provides technical leadership across projects, upgrades, migrations, and integrations ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
• Conducts architecture roadmaps, reviews, and debt identification to optimize cost and resilience.
• Engages with enterprise architects, PMO, vendors to align solutions with business capabilities and governance.
• Establishes architecture governance, reference architectures, and design standards; SOX compliance.
• Mentors architects/engineers; translates business requirements into technical specifications for delivery.
• Performs system assessments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting for SAP landscapes.
